Platform 1 is looking for a business-savvy person to join us in Auckland. You may already have some consulting clients or another income stream. This role will allow you to work around this with the team in our Newmarket office.
We have seen a noticeable lift in the market in this last quarter with businesses now pushing the button on engaging us. We expect this to only increase over Q1 2026 providing an opportunity for business growth.
THE CONCEPT
Our unique business owner transition model provides business owners an alternative exit strategy to an outright sale. Platform 1 find talented people with capital who will work in the business and buy out the owner over an agreed timeframe. A governance structure is set up and managed by Platform 1 to ensure the process is successful.
THE OPPORTUNITY
We are looking for an individual who can confidently take this growing value-add model to market. You will need to have experience selling and/or consulting in a B2B environment with natural ability successfully presenting to, and building relationships with, business owners.
-Experience and skills you have will include the following:
-Commercially astute
-Natural communicator with business development skills
-Proven sales and marketing experience within B2B environment
-Strong relationship management skills
-Confidence in managing candidate selection
